Job Description

MMC Group is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager for a great direct hire opportunity in Westford, MA.

The Facility Manager is a customer oriented individual who is independently responsible for maintaining daily operations and ensuring essential are delivered at our client facility.  Essential services include; Physical Security, Janitorial, HVAC operations, General/preventive Maintenance, Cafeteria operations, Utilities procurement management and monitoring in addition to invoice tracking and monitoring. Regular interfacing with suppliers, landlord, and internal teams are required, with an ability to communicate efficiently and resolve issues in a timely manner.
In addition to the above operational duties, this position also addresses Environmental, Health and Safety concerns, Emergency Action Plans, Business Continuity Planning, occupancy planning and insurance, security and quality audits.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Daily operations of site.  Primary interface between employee and corporate requirements and the Landlord’s Operational Team.
  • Ensure all conference rooms and general areas are properly configured daily.
  • Assign help desk tickets from office users to solution providers
  • Regular landlord communication and relationship building for general/detail aspects of the facility.
  • Vendor and contractor management for all facility related expenditures.  This includes annual budget, purchasing and delivery.
  • Work Place provisioning and tracking (new hires, departures, contractors) as well as site event handling (All Hands Meetings and Employee Events).
  • Ensure compliance to quality standards (ISO and TL) and drive efficiencies.
  • Participate in Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings.
  • Any other activities needed to ensure professional and safe operation of the facility.
  • Professional demeanor required to provide front desk coverage for up to one hour each day.
  • Assist with managing other remote facilities as required.
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • General knowledge of building routine maintenance, including ability to do small repairs and painting
  • Minimum 3 years work experience managing a Corporate facility
  • Proficient in MS Office; Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree a plus
  • Project Management experience is an asset.
  • Available to work after regular hours and weekends as needed
  • Must reside within 30 minutes of the Westford facility and be available on short notice in case of an emergency or to monitor building during extreme weather
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds individually and up to 100 pounds with assistance devices
