Claims Health Plan Recovery Associate
Austin, TX
$16.00 per hour
Contract to Hire
Monday – Friday – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Aid in the recovery of medical funds where a third-party carrier is responsible for payment and has not reimbursed the program. Assist in project management, reporting, and team administration as needed. The following are a list of responsibilities but are not solely limited to these processes: Research and develop leads for potential claims. Reviews and evaluates provider billing itemizations and records. Create insurance claims for billing. Understand the check disposition process at a high level. Develop and maintain professional business relationships with Insurance Carriers and Providers through verbal and written communication with insurance companies and medical care providers.
